Our vehicles have persistent minor leaks, and during the first trial, it increased the tire pressure from 21 PSI to 34 PSI within approximately 4-5 minutes. It's less noisy compared to my air compressor. Post-usage, the battery still indicated a full charge, and recharging it completely with the 12v DC USB cable took about an hour. It's a convenient device to have for unexpected situations!
The air pump came ready to use. My car tires needed a bit of air, so I used the pump for that. Although I glanced at the instructions, using the pump was very straightforward. I set it to 35 pounds for the tires, and it stopped automatically after a short while. However, my digital gauge showed the pressure was 34 instead of 35. It's possible that removing the hose let out some air, but losing a whole pound seemed too much. For the other tires, I adjusted the pump to 36, and this time they measured 35 pounds as desired.
This compact device is pretty good, but it takes a bit of time to complete the task. After using it, the unit, especially around the connector, feels warm.
It seems to be of good quality and is easy to use.
I caught a segment about this on TV and it seemed handy and interesting. It performs excellently on car tires. Simply attach it to the tire valve and turn it on. The display is user-friendly and quick. It's as noisy as I'd imagine, quite loud but nothing surprising. I stopped at a gas station to double-check, and it was spot-on accurate. It appears sturdy and conveniently fits in a glove box or center console. I hope it holds up well over time.
